Jeff Kessler has been the leading security industry analyst on Wall Street for 26 years: He began covering ADT, Sensormatic Electronics, and Checkpoint Systems in 1983 at Argus Research and then Cowen & Co, followed by 21 years as the senior business services analyst with Lehman Brothers. Jeff has brought a unique skill set to the security industry for the financial community – publicizing it, as well as prodding it to improve its financial profile with investors and its business profile with large enterprise end users.
Jeff has been publishing the industry’s most highly regarded “Security Industry Annual” for 15 years and has been a co-sponsor of the industry’s largest and oldest conference Securing New Ground which is focused on “the business of security”. He was also involved in 58 follow-on stock offerings (such as Sensormatic Electronics and InVision Systems), and 29 IPO’s, the most recent of which was sensor technology company ICX Technologies.
